Time to Reflect!

So I had a great weekend and instead of just talking on and on and on about it...I'm just going to post the good parts and the bad parts. I'll start with the good parts:

GOOD PARTS
*I carved a turkey for the first time ever in my life...with a butter knife.
*I dyed my hair :)
*My roommates and I made facials out of avacados and honey and put them on our faces. I'll post pictures later. It felt disgusting at first but it made my skin really soft! Anyway...then when we took them off Megan realized she had hives all over her face. She was like, "I knew I was allergic to eating them...but I didn't know I'd be allergic to them on my face too!" Maybe this should be on my "Bad Parts" list, but I secretly thought it was funny so I put it on the good parts :)
*I was in charge of my first enrichment activity ever. It was Thanksgiving dinner with a service project and I did it without a committee! Just Melissa and I. And it went awesome!
*It was my mom's birthday and she turned 55! I went home and had dinner with my family and it was awesome. Then my mom loaded me up with some groceries to take back to Rexburg. It was nice.
*My dad spoke in my ward today! He is serving on the High Council in my stake. It was weird. But he did an awesome job!
*I got to talk to my brother on Skype!
*I convinced Brittany to switch into my guitar class! So now I'll have a buddy!
Bad Parts
*I didn't get to go to Logan. And I really wanted to.
*It was freeeeeezing. But definately not as cold as it's gonna get in a couple months which does not make me excited. And it snowed. Poop on you cold weather!
*Not as many people showed up to the enrichment activity as said they would. So we had toonnns of left overs. Which doesn't sound bad but it was. I felt guilty for taking so much food (that I didn't even buy) home with me. But don't worry. The enrichment activity as a whole still belongs in the good parts section. Just that part sucked.
*Okay okay...Megan's face broke out in hives. This belongs in the Bad Parts too I guess :)
*I had to walk home from church with no coat, a dress that only went to my knees, no nylons, and sandals. Oh did I mention that it's freeeeeeezing in Rexburg? Walking for 15 minutes in 18 degree weather is not fun. By the time someone stopped and offered a ride I was across the street from my apartment complex. Bad timing...oh well haha.

So yeah! I think that's it! Sounds like a pretty awesome weekend huh? It was fun. I love my roommates and my family. They honestly do so much for me I don't know what I would do without them. I am so excited for Thanksgiving! All (well a large majority) of them are coming and it's just going to be so much fun. I can't wait! Well that's it for now. Until next time...ta ta!
