I start school on Tuesday. I don't know how I feel about that. Don't get me wrong I am way excited to go back to the burg and see all my peeps again but does all of that greatness really have to come with so much homework and studying?? But, as sad as all of this homework is going to be, my classes do seem like a lot of fun and way interesting. I'll be learning about stuff that I've never really learned about before! And I will be living with/by some of the most amazing people in the entire world, AND it'll be summer and summer is just so much fun. I simply cannot wait for this amazingness to begin!
Let me back up a few steps. I finished the winter semester of 2010 on April 8th. That weekend I got to go down to St. George with my parents and my wonderful sister Lora. My brother Scott and his wife Tamra live there and our cousins live in Cedar City which is pretty close. It was a lot of fun and so nice to have warm weather and to see palm trees! One of the highlights was when my dad put a couple quarters into one of those machines where you are trying to pick up a stuffed animal with a claw because Tamra wanted to get a University of Utah teddy bear for their dog to chew up (haha yeah, BYU all the way!). Well, my dad had never ever done one of those things before but he wanted to try and he got it on his very first try! It was so hilarious. He did this little victory dance...oh man. Made my entire night. It's funny how much better I get along with my parents now that I don't live with them :)
We came back Sunday night and Monday morning it was back to work for all of us! Luckily, I didn't have to work until 1:30 the next day so I got to sleep in a little bit. I worked all week and the weather was pretty nice for the most part I think. Then this weekend I drove down to Logan, UT to visit Hayley, Stormie, Marci, Brad, and Kade! It was so much fun. I got to eat the best breadsticks in the whole world and I got to be there for true aggie night. Wow...let me just tell you that was quite the experience. People just go up there and makeout while people just stand around and watch! It's the weirdest thing. I couldn't help but keep thinking how different Utah State and BYU-I are. Even though they are both mainly populated by members of the LDS religion, they just have completely different ways of doing things. Not that either are bad...they're just different! But it was so much fun seeing all of my friends and meeting their friends and just not being in Idaho anymore! But here I am, back in good old Idaho.
Tomorrow I am moving my stuff back up to Rexburg and then I get to see a bunch of people that I haven't seen in months! For some its only been a week or so but still, I'm way stoked to see them all. I have a feeling this semester is going to be a lot of fun. I just hope I can keep up on my homework and stuff.
Another thing that I'm super excited for is having my friends come home from their missions! I really can't wait I think it will just be super! I can't wait to see them again. It's been a while. Some it's been two years, others it's been since the pre-existence! hahaha :) But anyway yeah, it's going to be so much fun!
Anyway...time for bed! I'm pooped. Goodnight!
