Tonight I went to my very first Harry Potter party! I dressed up as Hedwig, Harry's owl, because I have never read the books and I don't even remember anyone from the movie except the main people and everyone had already taken those roles so I wasn't really sure who to be. So yeah...the owl it was! :) I'll admit my costume was pretty funny. I got a mask and covered it with white feathers except for the nose which I painted orange. And then I wore all white clothes, a white feather boa, and stuffed all my pockets with tons of feathers so they were sticking out everywhere. It was awesome. There was TONS of way way yummy food there too; all Harry Potter themed. Oh, it was thrown as a goodbye party to my sister Lora because she is moving to St. George in a couple days. Sad day...sigh...anyway. It was great. Then Lora, Corrine, Matt, Dan, Hayley, and I went to Dr. Slaughters. It was way fun but kind of expensive! Especially because we chose the fast lane which costs $3 more, but worth it because it made the line WAYYYY shorter and also ensured that we didn't have to watch the nasty lesbian couple in front of us make out and grope each other for 3 hours straight.
