Top 10 Reasons Why I LOVE My Life

(in no particular order)

1. My name is Joy; therefore, I have an automatic excuse to be happy ALL THE TIME. And believe me, I usually am.

2. I was able to grow up in good ol' Idaho Falls, Idaho. As much as I act like I hated it, I feel so grateful to have been raised around such great, family oriented, high-valued people.

3. The car that I own may be crappy...but it is completely paid for, doesn't hog gas, gets me where I need to go, and has never required any extremely expensive repairs. I am soooo grateful for that.

4. My friends are the GREATEST! Need I say more?

5. Growing up, I was able to get an education for free and I am now able to get cheap tuition at a wonderful University! I have never been held back, never had a teacher that I couldn't stand (I have loved, with the exception of maybe two or three, every single one of my teachers that I've ever had in my entire life), and I am able to pick a degree that I want!

6. I have a family who loves, supports, and appreciates me. See previous post for more about that one :)

7. I not only have a job, but I have a job that I love! I looooove love love the little kids that I work with even though they tire me out and sometimes they drive me crazy! But they are such good examples to me of how even though things are going rough in your life and things aren't going the way you think they should you can STILL keep going and you can STILL find happiness. And the people that I work for are really great and honest people and I'm so lucky to be working for them!

8. I have the knowledge of the true church of Jesus Christ! I know that He loves me so much that he took upon Himself MY sins and YOUR sins so that we could be saved and have eternal life. No one is perfect, and it is because of Jesus Christ that we are able to repent of the stupid crap that we do and eventually live with Him and God, our Father, once again for ever and ever and ever! I was taught this concept from the minute I came to this earth and although the idea has been tried and tested and eventually strengthened, I have never really had a doubt about any of it. I am able to receive inspiration through prayer, personal revelation, and scripture study. I am able to read the divinely inspired words of prophets from long long ago and some from not that long ago. It's so awesome!

9. I am able to walk, talk, run, see, hear, breathe, taste, feel, love, think, dance...there are SO many things I'm capable of doing normally!...although some people might argue that last point. haha.

10. I have so many great guys in my life that respect women and that treat girls the way they really should be treated. Whether they are my family members or my friends or more than friends haha they are all SO great! I love it!
